Departure for the wonderful Amalfi coast. The fiordo of Furore is the first jewel on the coast with itís small antique fishing houses, recently renovated. The next stop is the famous view from the Grotta dello Smeraldo (entrance apart). Continuing towards Amalfi you can admire Capo di Conca and itís Muslim tower. An antique guard tower built by the viceroy of Naples, Pedro de Toledo, in the 16th century to defend the territory from the Turks. The marina di Conca became famous in the 60ís and the 70ís for housing many famous people, such as; Gianni Agnelli, Sofia Loren, princess Margaret of England and Jacqueline Kennedy (who in 1961 was coming back from a visit to Ravello, stopped to have a swim). It is here that we stop to take a swim in the splendid waters under the natural arch. Continuing on to Amalfi and the small town of Atrani and at last we make a return.
